Located in the 1st arrondissement, the Palais Royal was originally, residence of Cardinal Richelieu, then, of Louis XIII, Anne of Austria, Cardinal Mazarin and the Orléans. Today, houses the Conseil d’État, the Constitutional Council, and the Ministry of Culture.
