The small square is in fact a street, located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris in Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
It bears the name of Cardinal Guillaume-Egon de Fürstenberg (1629-1704), abbot of Saint- Germain -des-Prés in 1697.
At number 6, the Delacroix museum where the artist had his studio and ended his days.
