Located at the summit of the butte Montmartre, 18th arrondissement. Constructed in the late 19th century, after the Commune, in honor of the victims. Built of travertine stone which ensures that the basilica remains white.

Stands in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle (Place de l’Étoile). Located at the western end of the Champs-Élysées, 8th arrondissement. Built in 1806 after the victory at Austerlitz by Emperor Napoleon. Beneath the Arc is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from the First World War.

The Eiffel Tower, named after its designer, engineer Gustave Eiffel,  located on the Champ de Mars in Paris was built as the entrance arch for the 1889 World’s Fair. The tower stands at 324 m (1,063 ft) tall, it was the tallest structure in the world from its completion until 1930, when it was eclipsed by the Chrysler Building in New York City. The tower has three levels for visitors. Both the first and second levels feature restaurants.

The Parc des Princes is located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, currently the home of football team Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).  The name Parc des Princes (”Princes’ Park”) was given to the surrounding area during the 18th century, when it was a forest used by the royal family for hunting. The stadium is served by two stations on the Paris Métro: Porte de Saint-Cloud and Porte d’Auteuil.
